![]() ![]() Grayed out, so if it offers an option to change speeds, and reports a change in the graph, it prolly works. I think to reduce it from normal to slightly below normal will take way more time and or money if you start buying stuff than its - So you know, the graphs are reading in real time what the actual clock rate is, not what you have it set to, for example, when I set my memory to 820, it reads 821, because it gets as close as it can. Not to mention you would have to underclock to like 250-300 to really see a change in temp.Īlso, I just remembered my HD3650 in my girl's desktop has a 2 wire fan, and in rivatuner the fan speed is grayed out, so if it offers an option to change speeds, and reports a change in the graph, it prolly works.Īll in all, I maintain that you have a good (normal) idle temp for that card, and you are fine leaving it alone. ![]() ![]() I imagine it would do the same thing if you underclock, only in reverse. At least thats how it works on my computer, if I monitor my graph on my second monitor while in game, the overclock does not apply until the game is running, then at times (loading screens for example) the car will return to stock until the game starts rendering 3D again. Also, I think prescision only changes the perf 3D clock profile, so what you may get when underclocking is stock speeds in desktop and then it underclocks when you try to run a 3D app. Ablearcher - I know that the card can PWM the fan speed, I just thought in the world of computers variable speed fans were always 3 - So you know, the graphs are reading in real time what the actual clock rate is, not what you have it set to, for example, when I set my memory to 820, it reads 821, because it gets as close as it can. ![]()
